Related to a 2000 - 3710 cab tractor- has anyone had problems with the loader cables freezing in cold weather?
I am told, by the dealer, the this is a recognized problem yet, Kubota is not coving modification under the warranty. Further I am told that Kubota has come up with a new cable design and is not replacing cables on tractors with problems. Please respond thanks

This is a problem that all loader cables have in the cold. There is some procedures we use such as drilling the adapters where they fit on to the valves. The cables them selves probably drop below the level of the valve so you need to remove them and allow them to drain. We normally fill with Hytran a Case-IH hyraulic oil that will absorb the moisture in the cables and then reinstall with extra emphasis on relocating them higher than the valve so the moisture in the future will drain out the new holes in the receivers. ....

Art thanks for the come back. Frozen cables may common and acceptable on some loaders. But not mine! I owe Kubota too much money. If the cable freeze to tractor don't plow, if the tractor don't plow I don't get paid and I can't pay mt tractor payment.. i hpe someons got te anwer.

I didn't mean to say it was common but we have seen it before. Your attachments to the tractor are covered for a year. The problem stems from cabs being warm and condensation forming in the cables from heating and cold. It can be solved will take about an hour of time and the problem should be solved. In NY we do run into it and we have on all tractor assembly at this point assemble to prevent the problem from existing. I can tell your dealer how to fix if you would like. Sounds like a deal from Art and a good suggestion.
I used to use a product specifically for motorcycle cables. I doubt that it worked much better than hydraulic oil, but it sure did cost a lot more.
